GENERAL INFORMATION
The Southcliff Black & Blue Classic returns to the Western North Carolina running calendar on Races, Saturday, October 27 at 11:00 am. Runners who have raced here before can expect much of the same as past years, with unique courses on private roads and trails, incredibly fall foliage, amazing views, a post-race that includes lunch and beer, and the most generous awards in the area.

COURSES
The event consists of two races: The Black, which is 6.5 miles and The Blue, which is 2.6 miles. Both races have a mixture of trail and road in the first mile then groomed trail or gravel road for the balance of the race.

SCHEDULE
The Black race will begin at 11:00 AM and the Blue race will begin at 11:05 AM. Both races start from the security building at the main gate.

REGISTRATION
Registration for both races begins on June 15. Race registration will be taken online only through IM Athlete. Click HERE to go to the registration page. Online registration ends at midnight on Thursday, October 25^th.

Early Registration (June 15-July 31) - $30
Regular Registration (August 1-September 30) - $35
Late Registration (October 1-Race Day) - $45

BLUE - ENTRY FEES
Early Registration (June 15-July 31) - $20
Regular Registration (August 1-September 30) - $25
Late Registration (October 1-Race Day) - $35

AWARDS
Southcliff Asheville is proud to present custom made furniture, seen throughout the Southcliff community, to the overall men and women winners in both races. The second and third place winners in each race will receive dinners for two to one of Asheville outstanding restaurants.

The top three in each group, male and female, will win $10 gift cards to an area retailer. The age groups in both races are: 15 & Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 & Over.

PARKING
Race parking will be in the Southcliff community near the main lodge. Volunteers will be there to direct you upon your arrival.
