Staffed Gatehouse:
Southcliff has a fully staffed gatehouse that is located at the entrance to the community. This gatehouse provides security for the entire community. Visitor and vendor entry is closely monitored and access managed for all visitors.
Hiking Trails:
There are six miles of hiking trails that wind through Southcliff connecting its neighborhoods to parks and to each other. In addition to the picturesque trails in Southcliff, Asheville offers hikers outstanding scenery with breathtaking views from the highest ridgelines east of the Mississippi River. The wide range of hiking opportunities in Asheville is one of the main attractions to hikers of all levels of experience. Among the attractions hikers can expect to find are:

-over 200 waterfalls in the mountains

Playgrounds:

There are a number of covered pavilions that epitomize the Southcliff experience. They offer a place for neighbors to gather, share stories and experiences and build lifetime memories. Neighbors can often be found enjoying each others company with friends and families in these great gathering places, which are beautifully built of wood and stone and include fireplaces for further enjoyment.
Scenic Overlooks:
Southcliff is located on the south face of Cedar Cliff Mountain. This community is nestled in a wonderful setting with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. All along the hiking trails there are numerous breathtaking, scenic overlooks to take in the views.
Community Fire pits:
